While electronic media cannot truly portray the quality of living and learning that one experiences as a Middlesex student, we have devised this section of the website to convey some of the essentials in your consideration of Middlesex. You’ll find "nuts and bolts" information about the application process, as well as special features profiling MX people, programs and culture. Be sure also to click through the Find Your Promise section of the site: it dynamically conveys the character and connection that make Middlesex unique among this country's leading boarding schools.
Middlesex looks for students who we believe will fit the culture of the school: a culture that challenges and stretches students intellectually in a rigorous academic program; a culture with broad and inclusive opportunities in arts and athletics; a culture where students are encouraged to explore their interests and talents; a culture where a skilled faculty inspires and nurtures each student; a culture where each student is known and needed.
The Middlesex model works. Some will judge us by the success of our graduates in the college process and their lives beyond, by metrics such as SAT or AP results, by league championships, Presidential Scholars, or the talent displayed by our student artists. While we are proud of these accomplishments, it is the extraordinary people and community that have always distinguished this special school.
